Am trying to decide if we can afford to do that now and go to 4 days but not sure its viable. Also considering doing compressed hours, so work four longer days and then take a day off.Same age as me. I dropped a day this year (teacher) what a difference to my work life balance.

That's tough. I don't mind in the summer as I get to leave in the daylight and get golf in. Now, makes me very sad. Also reminds me of my mum who also hated this time of yearSome of us already leave home in the dark and get home in the dark, and have been for while already
