Oh Reggie you are flipping gorgeous.
What an intelligent looking dog. Just lovely.
Really missing my old lad. Without a dog for 13 years and counting.
I think it might be getting to us.

Not quite the same is it.![]()
We wonder what life would be without our Frank now.Hopefully soon. I honestly cannot imagine my life without dogs in it. Main issue is I'm rather too happy to stay home with them all the time!

Broke my heart.
But the house was awful without a dog in it.

Though we only had our last two as recue Kayleigh since she was 10 month and Baldrick 5 years when we got them, they were everything to us. Kayleigh was very fond of my wife and stuck to here like glue. Baldrick was very much my best friend he would love to go everywhere with me and was pretty much with me the rest of his life, with the exception of a few days here and there. he loved going to golf and was a supreme ball hunter.I just keep coming back to the fact that the pleasure they bring every day outweighs the heartache. I'm at the stage when a picture pops up of Barley that I can smile rather than cry. They're all so unique and I miss his presence. He was our most challenging rescue and that brought a lot of reward.
Reminds me of the first night Frank arrived. He was very nervous and went to somewhere he felt safe.Really missing my old lad. Without a dog for 13 years and counting.

Barney, settled in really well, he absolutely loves my youngest boy Rory, they are almost inseparable, always cry’s when he goes to school, then all over him like a rash as soon as he is in the door

Not that I'm thinking of getting one, but out of interest how long do they typically live?Been threatening to post this for a while. Meet Silky, our Chilean Rose Tarantula. She is about 13 years old and eats crickets - occasionally
Males live 5-10 years and females live 20-25 years. You can only tell what sex they are after they have shed their skin and then you examine their 'bits' under a microscope. As we have had Silky for 13+ years, we are presuming she is a she (but not 100% sure)Not that I'm thinking of getting one, but out of interest how long do they typically live?
OK thanks. Interesting the difference in expected lifespan.Males live 5-10 years and females live 20-25 years.
