This was Misty on her first and last day with us. Fifteen years together, almost one third of my life with her. So difficult to say goodbye to them. I was an absolute mess taking her to the vet but knew it was the kindest decision for her.

We’ve got 2 dogs - had 3 up until 12 months ago.
Luna. Rescue dog who we took in when we lived in Spain. She was taken from a crate on a farm with two of her siblings when she was a few weeks old. Some of her other siblings were already dead.
Wants to say hello to every hooman or dog she sees on a walk.
Then we have Kasey - 7 years old and the pup we kept when Flo (her mum) had a litter of pups. Typical Springer - runs for hours once shes off thr lead and has a totally loving nature.
Then there is Flo, had many adventures with us, totally mischievous from the day she was born. We even ended up on the local news with her, live in the studio. Amazingly, she was as good as gold. Hopefully shes sat with the legendary Harry Gration somewhere up there.

The two-year-old spring spaniel had managed to eat the rocks while its owners were on a family holiday.

Apologies in advance, this may become long, A few moving stories of previous pets. We'd said we'd go pet free for a few years once the last one went... the wife lasted about 3 months!
We took this as an older puppy, he had a lot of energy (even for a puppa), and was already as large (for his breed, as typically expected these days). This pic of "cotton wool head" makes me smile as it was before the pup hair went, and for a change he was not covered in mud / undergrowth / fox
i.e. 
Somehow him and the wife managed to persuade the addition of the "mini wolf lady". They reckoned she was around 2 years old, and they hit it off immediately.
After putting on over 5KG, and a change of coat..
Two weeks ago, this nervous mischief joined the pack. Believed to be around 2 years old (although I wonder if a little younger) Follows fluff around like a shadow and uses him for re-assurance.
But is learning to relax
