Remote for the firestick has been missing for three days. It's likely Summer has picked it up and dropped it somewhere unexpected. Why don't they put 'find my remote' trackers in these things?? 😆

The increasing number of people who think rules or reasonable requests don't apply to them
In the Club car park there is a gate that the greenkeepers use..it has a sign on it clearly saying
No parking at any time....and yet someone had left their Land rover in front of them...
At our local Tesco there are 3 signs across the front of the shop saying No par,ING
They're 2ft x 3ft and bright yellow..there double yellow lines painted there....
And still people park there....
The World is full of Peasants.....

Why should they worry when they know they won't be held accountable.

Back in the early 90's Newcastle University used to stick an A4 notice on the drivers side window of cars that were parked on site in places they shouldn't have been. The glue on those was phenomenal. You could see remnants on windows of cars all over the city where people had tried and failed to scrape them off. Evil things but highly effective in getting the message across. People rarely fell foul twice, they learnt.

I don't see it anymore, probably not allowed to stick something that wicked on a screen now, but I often thing of those being used in scenarios as you have described. Revenge if nothing else 😂

Fitting a new macerator for the shower in the en-suite. One of the new jubilee clips had a really stiff mechanism. Holding it in my hand trying to turn it with a screwdriver thinking if this slips it’s s gonna hurt. 10 seconds later screwdriver slips and blood everywhere. 🤣🤬

Normally, a 7mm socket is best used for these things. It also helps to put something like WD40 on the worm drive first as well:)
Been there. got the scars:)

Corrr they taking the Mick

When I signed up you had one plan £50 first year then £60 a year. Reasonable

It jumped up to £80

Sort of get that. Still takes the Mick

But this year ..

£110

Are you serious? I can ofc lower my package and only 2 streams at once etc etc but with the kids getting older they like to watch different things at once as kids do so I'm gonna leave it

Just ridiculous rise really considering it only launched during COVID

I have a memory of losing the tiny remote for my soundbar. I had it in my hands just minutes before. Finally found it a couple of years later when I sold the sofa, lodged on small metal plate in the recline mechanism, could only be seen when the sofa was taken apart.

Adults are free at all my local ones - so nearly choked when I had to pay to accompany my 2 Yr old at the one in Altrincham with my mate.

Also 11 quid, is that per child?!

Fuming if its over a fiver up per kid up here 😂.

Yeah it was £11 for our eldest, over 4s are that. Below less can't remember lol but I saw they do a membership that's £10 per kid a month then £5 per adult so would be £40 a month for us. (Won't be doing tho)

However it was a really good day, we got there at 10, had lunch (well kids did) left at 13:30 so all that cash actually did entertain them for hours.

One of the better ones around aswell as the slides and climbs werent too extreme for the little ones so they could run around like idiots.

Cracking day to be fair.

The amount of "new" accounts that seem to have been created recently. I think it's obvious what it is, really really sad 🙁

Maybe they've learned their lesson and aim to return as a better person ........................... maybe?
To be fair, I've never noticed anyone doing this.

No idea which posters are back but the forum has lost a lot of good posters over the last 6/12 months for various reasons

Despite what some think the forum is worse off because of many of those that’s have left.
