Random Irritations

We’ve gone to London specifically for New Year’s Eve and the fireworks. Yes we made it a long weekend but it was the display we went for.

Hmm. I think people do go for the fireworks. Given that tickets cost £20 and they sell out about a month in advance of NYE, it's not something you do just because you're there. You have to have planned to be there.

I stand corrected, I thought was more people just up London anyways for a night out and then went for the fireworks afters

Fair play 👍🤙

Going to a garden centre for breakfast with my parents tomorrow

Full engine £8.50, reasonable enough these days

Toast (kids will eat that) £2.40 .. reasonable I guess

Beans on toast £6... Erm what is magical about these beans that they are £3.60 🤣

Every email you receive containing the phrase 'happy new year' for the next three weeks. I'm back at work today, it's four weeks from payday and I'm skint already, and no, I'm not that happy about it.

This is one of those times where you just order everything separately (at less cost) and make your own 🤣.

This reminds of the time we stayed in a hotel and at breakfast there was all the usual offerings, full breakfast with beans, toast and all the usuals when I asked "could I just have beans on toast", I as informed sorry, we don't do that.:ROFLMAO:

Probably mentioned several times, but adverts in YouTube. They are getting longer and more prevalent. No, I don't want to pay for the premium service, however I do appreciate it's a free service overall.

More annoying is that now Amazon Prime are doing similar. £2.99 per month to go ad-free, on top of the annual £95 sub.

Netflix will follow suit I would imagine. Then others.

I find this when watching on anything other than my phone. I am now getting 50s of unskipable ads, especially on longer videos, rather than the old 5s until you could skip with the odd 20s one thrown in.

Advertisers take note.. i
If an advert interrupts my game and it takes 1 click of a miniscule x to clear it there is a 0.0001% that I will ever use your product or service.
If it takes 2 screens of x clicking then you will be paying me tomuse your product.
If it takes 3 or more then watch your back as I will hunt you down......
