Random Irritations

Just for information the long out of date Papardelle looked fine (it was sealed in a box) and smelt ok but I boiled some and the texture wasn’t correct.

Sealed it would probably have been ok mite-wise. Having found out Cooper is allergic to food storage mites I've become a bit obsessed, and phobic!!

First day back in the office of the new year. First off, it takes me about 15 minutes to thaw out my car from the block of ice it was encased in. When I get to the station I discover there is no Metropolitan Line beyond Harrow. Just when I'm about to turn back, they send one train that is going as far as Wembley, so I get on it. From Wembley I have to get Jubilee Line to Baker Street. From there I jump on the Circle towards Barbican - only they announce that Barbican is in fact closed so I have to walk 10 minutes in from Farringdon instead. Are half of TFL still off for Christmas?? Happy bloody New Year.
I’m so glad that I don’t have to do that commute. I have a ten minute drive with nice sea views. In summer I will be cycling. After working from home for 4 years I packed that job in. Hardly leaving the house all week during the winter months was driving me mad.

Just read that the golf event in Hawaii is a no cut event......did not know that has LIV started.....

it's a joke so don't get your knickers in a twist.

It used to be previous year's winners only - then they changed the rules and made all the Top 50 eligible and designated it a signature event. Rubbish all round.

I know it's against the rules but it always makes me laugh when Londoners moan about the tube, every time I've been on it I can't believe how great it is.

Family groups and loved up couples all walking hand in hand through London. It’s really busy and these people are walking roadblocks for everyone else to try and get round. Throw in the photo seekers blocking the pavement (and some in the road 😳) and it is a nightmare to get round. Visiting London would be great without the tourists 🤪

Could be worse.
