Selfish kids ..

Bucket of sweets outside. First kids to take from it just now they emptied it all into their bag bar like 1 sweet

So I went out to take it all in and some cute kid was just coming so I let her have the last of it and brought it all inside

All someone that ruins it for the rest

Try buying cheap plastic bags and splitting the sweets equally between the bags. Just hand one bag to each kid

Oh no we had the bowl outside for the kids to help themselves whilst we put the kids to bed

We found a few whilst taking everyone out earlier.. made sure our lot only took 1 per kid

Someone wished me "happy Halloween" today.

a) Is this a thing?
b) Isn't that counter intuitive?

I had the same discussion with my wife, funnily enough. I was greeting the trick or treaters with a simple hello and saying "have a good night" when they left. She asked me why I wasn't saying 'happy Halloween'. It said it's not meant to be happy is it? It's meant to be scary or spooky or something, but not happy.

Sick to death of the bloody fireworks... Been almost every night for past 2 weeks... Doggo is not impressed the poor thing... As is next doors.. Not looking forward to this weekend.
Tunes are gonna have to be pumping to try to drown out the booms..
