Oh no we had the bowl outside for the kids to help themselves whilst we put the kids to bed
We found a few whilst taking everyone out earlier.. made sure our lot only took 1 per kid
This is what we have done the last couple of years now, works much better.

I had the same discussion with my wife, funnily enough. I was greeting the trick or treaters with a simple hello and saying "have a good night" when they left. She asked me why I wasn't saying 'happy Halloween'. It said it's not meant to be happy is it? It's meant to be scary or spooky or something, but not happy.

The wifes attuide to decorating
I agreed to repaint the living room, new sofas arrive in a month so my plan is around work for the month I'll do little by little get it done
Start this afternoon as that's 5 hours kid free then tomorrow morning, Monday morning ..
"I don't want it done in patches"
Either you want it done or not ...
This is why she normally gets sent away when I paint so I can leave it half done and come back the next day

This is why I'm doing it before the new furniture arrives. Can be slap dash with the current lot and wood flooring means it washes off lol

I'm the same. My missus sees herself as a foreman rather than the worker so prefer to watch and critique which is extremely offputting. I get lots more done when she's not in the house.
