Bloody Pesky Pedestrians (but not all of them)... Those who choose to cross at a intersection with lights. With no traffic around, why press the button and then walk before it turns green. I was about 200-300 yards away, and while they pressed the button, crossed the road and got onto the other side. By the time I got to the lights it turned red and for no reason, just sat there looking at the other driver. just tumbleweed across the road while the jaywalkers walked away..

worth remembering that some of people have come from countries where it is illegal to walk across when the lights show red for pedestrians.

You need to drill a hole in the screws and use an easy out, or similar to remove the screws. Check You Tube and I’m sure you’ll find some videos

I have ordered one of those screw extractor drill bits... lets see

Have you tried some kind of aerosol propelled water dispersing lubricant?

.. I had to read that about 40 times to understand that... but could not. I am worried that the said lube might melt the Ikea furniture

Moving some ikea wardrobe from one room to another… why are some of the screws attaching the doors stuck.. forcing them means that the heads are destroyed.. now I m stuck on how to get the hinges off

The trick comes in the assembly.

If you think you are likely to move it at some time put a small amount of Vaseline/grease on the screw.

2nd trick put a screwdriver in the screw and give it a gentle tap with a hammer before trying to remove it.

If that was the case, they would still be standing at the crossing, waiting for it to turn to green. The irritation is that someone has pressed the button and then crossed before that has happened.

I still smile at my first time in Germany when I encountered this. No cars to be seen along a straight road, no one moved until the crossing went green. It all seemed very odd and I had a little chuckle to myself at how orderly everyone was.

Why? Single use plastics are a big environmental problem. Getting rid of plastic cutlery is really not a big deal and surely worth it to stop creating lots of largely useless waste that will still exist in hundreds of years time.

Now if we were talking getting rid of plastic straws and replacing them with papers ones, whole new ballgame

British Gas meter reader telling me he has the right to enter my home to take a meter reading as it’s their property in my house and they’ve only received meter readings from me and not the smart meter in 2 months!

Yes, I've tried it via the app and on my phones website browser and never get the text through, it's basically rendering the app useless. I can't find a way to do it on my laptop either.

Just buy the can that has 2 nozzles. One has the straw attached that you pop up when needed and push down and there you go normal
