I'll tell you what's really annoying about wd40. Haven't needed to use in quite some time, went to get it about an hour ago and its rusted!
Bit of wd40 will fix that

Yet when drivers in Egypt do this we think it is mad.If that was the case, they would still be standing at the crossing, waiting for it to turn to green. The irritation is that someone has pressed the button and then crossed before that has happened.
I still smile at my first time in Germany when I encountered this. No cars to be seen along a straight road, no one moved until the crossing went green. It all seemed very odd and I had a little chuckle to myself at how orderly everyone was.
The small cartons of orange drink I buy have had the straws replaced with paper ones. Halfway through drinking the juice they always collapse in the middle and nothing comes through them. Why? Single use plastics are a big environmental problem. Getting rid of plastic cutlery is really not a big deal and surely worth it to stop creating lots of largely useless waste that will still exist in hundreds of years time.
Now if we were talking getting rid of plastic straws and replacing them with papers ones, whole new b
Certainly not so anymore!A gently push has normally caused IKEA furniture to thoroughly dismantle itself, in my experience.
My last experience of IKEA was about 25 years ago.Certainly not so anymore!
You're thinking of MFI Wobbly Wardrobes.
When MFI merged with Tesco - by the time you got home the legs had fallen off the chickens!
I'd argue theres more harmful enviromemtal issues going on than plastic KFS.Why? Single use plastics are a big environmental problem. Now if we were talking getting rid of plastic straws and replacing them with papers ones, whole new ballgame
I think some people argue with their own duplicate IDs just to throw us off the scent and to amuse themselves when they can't get anyone to give them a good argument.I'm convinced there's a few new bogus/duplicate user ids on here today
Reusable KFS we already have, they are metal. Plastic is a cheap alternative but utterly disposable. They are not designed to be used repeatedly, if they were that strong they wouldn't be cheap. Equally, those supplying plastic versions don't want them back, don't want to clean and reuse them. Even if they took them back, they are unlikely to wash well, be hygienic. Why not make reusable plastic KFS?
It was a figure of speech, it never needing explaining.Reusable KFS we already have, they are metal. Plastic is a cheap alternative but utterly disposable. In essence, if you want reusable you need metal. If you want single use, or similar, then it's wood or bamboo now.
Of course you can be irritated by it, that's the thread. I was just explaining why, imo, it's not bonkers though
The M1
So many roadworks
6 hours from Rickmansworth to Scarborough
That is all
50 miles of slow / stationary trafficIt’s awful.
I would estimate that between Leeds and J6a with the M25 there must be in the region of 50 miles of roadworks now.
Oh, sorry. I meant 50 miles of cones.
IKEA stuff is actually pretty good.My last experience of IKEA was about 25 years ago.
