Random Irritations

Open Banking apps that require you to approve a transaction in another app, but chuck you out as you go to the approval message.

It's a simple fix and just poor blooming design.
This a thousand times. It's so annoying. When my wife orders something they send a OTP it's so easy.

Just joined Facebook for the first time so I can use Marketplace.
Advertised something last night for £50, specifically saying price is not negotiable.
Already had someone asking if I'll take £20. 🤣

I’ve got a fair bit of stuff listed at present, all at low prices to get it out the door. Most haven’t quibbled. But I’ve got one guy who has sent several messages about sending a courier, even though the ad says “no couriers.” Now he wants to explain how couriers work. Another has offered 50% of an already low prices…

Motorists on the motorway who, when seeing a National Highways Traffic Officer’s car, report a police vehicle sighting on Google Maps.

Come on, people. Highways Traffic Officers have been around for the best part of 20 years. If you can’t tell the difference between them and the police after all this time there’s no helping you.

Panic mode. Fear of being seen to be doing something wrong. It should be obvious but every time you see cars slowing down and suddenly indicators start working to change lanes

But all because of a car carrying someone who has absolutely no enforcement powers. They clear debris and deal with minor collisions. That’s my point. They’re not the police, and way too many people cannot differentiate.

Yes, but you have to acknowledge that Highways Officer cars are sneakily painted to closely resemble police car livery. There's absolutely no reason to do this unless you want to deliberately make drivers think that perhaps they ARE police.

My driving instructor always said slow down for fire, ambulance and anything that looks like them.. they have radios they could always call the police lol 🤣

Agree with both of the above. My irritation lies with people being incapable of telling the difference, because it really isn’t difficult.
Perhaps the irritation is also the twunts who upload that location and non sighting as they drive..

It's easy to tell the plastic police, the yellow doesnt reflect like a real police car and the black is easy to tell apart. They also use vehicles the police generally dont:)
They also don't use the lanes correctly all to often as well.
