I don't think evicting someone is that common. You can lose privileges, be banned for a few days etc so for all the bluster they don't like to push things too far. Warnings are usually enough.

HoL. Nowhere near as confrontational or tribal so this sort of thing doesn't really happen. Most of the bluster in the HoC is for show. No one watches the Lords so showboating would be wasted.

A bit like here, then. ;)

I had something similar years ago with a tiler. New bathroom and the tiler made a right mess cutting the tiles on the drive. Had to phone the company to get their tiler to come and clean his mess away. Some tradesmen do my head in at times.
I thought standard operating procedure was to cram any debris under the new bath then conceal it with a panel.

At least they did it outside.

We did a full renovation of our old house that took a couple of years. We had re plastered every room, many of which were painted in a light colour, new cream carpets on the stairs and upstairs, new kitchen with white worktops. (All great before the kids 😂)
The last thing to go down was the oak flooring downstairs.

I set the fitters going in the morning and went to work. The clowns had done all of the cutting inside with no dust extraction, so there was dust everywhere. The place was a mess, everywhere was covered in dust, there were footprints on the carpets as they had used the upstairs bathroom rather than the one in the utility.

The company ended up paying for a cleaning company to come and do a deep clean as I refused to pay their invoice until they had cleaned up.

Sometimes I find here like the house of commons

Back and forth, others won't agree with one side

Few flounces , few bans for extreme views

Wonder if they would clean up their act with stricter bans

Get to work LT

Have to admit I just put it in the bin, no issue really. Would just be common politeness to ask

A glass has just broken in the kitchen, because a jar that was sat on top of the microwave gradually fell off due to the vibration of the washing machine, and landed on said glass, smashing it. What are the flipping odds of that? How's your luck.

Reminds me of an irritating job I had.
My manager had just got the latest expensive No,ia phone and had left it on his desk while he popped to the khaki...
It started ringing and vibrating and began shuffling towards the edge..
I was willing it to make the fall, it would almost certainly have smashed as we had hard floors, but he came back just in time.....that was irritating too....

This has just reminded me:

Driving instructors taking people who are very obvious beginners into busy supermarket car parks to practise their parking, and also using what is an extremely busy road during the school run where you get people being idiots. Neither scenario good for the nervous learner, or people with no patience.

A female Aussie footballer has been charged with calling a policeman a “stupid white PC”. The main irritation is the court case is expected to last 4 days!😲
And the case is to be held in April when there are hundreds of rape cases that are waiting over 18 months to get to court. Glad to see the justice system has the right priorities

I was doing tea tonight, bacon chilli pasta. My wife did the shopping at the weekend and bought thick cut bacon from aldi. Absolute worst, thinnest bacon ever 😫. I've seen tracing paper thicker. Shocker.

Couldn't agree more....I once too on a student who, on her first lesson, was taken down the A41 dual carriageway and pushed to go 60....
There are plenty of idiot instructors out there...

Can you log on to your account through the council website and see your bill? I know Wiltshire Council have the bills available online
