A very good reason not to watch the news.
Turn off your tv set and go and do something less boring instead. 🙂
Your blood pressure will thank you.
If there actually is some real news, you'll soon hear about it.
Absolutely. Too often what I hear might hear in the news really annoys me, as it has for a few years, and so if I know there is likely to be something highly irritating to me being reported I just don’t listen or watch. If I need to know something I‘m confident that I will hear of it in plenty of time.

No matter, I’m pretty sure any announcer on a tee could do a great job of leading the cheering, just as they do when introducing boxers to the crowd.

Get it repaired properly and as soon as possible.
We had to replace the full bathroom floor and the diningroom ceiling below.

The obsession with keeping COVID measures that make things worse

Been on a few English holidays since COVID, all of them (centre parcs, haven, park deans) keep the ridiculous "book to swim" policy even tho it makes it more crowded due to the overlap in sessions (everyone in changing room at once) and they let people book as many as they want before everyone's booked least once

Couldn't get in at all to swim at weekend with the kids, yet they say if you show up you can wait (up to hour) because a lot of people don't bother showing up

So on one hand you get selfish people blocking the swimming and on other a stupid system that shouldn't have been kept

I remember summers spent in pools all afternoon, coming going as you pleased , going for lunch then back in the pool, never crowded because people just went when they wanted rather than all at once because we must go in at 0945 or whatever

Shame really

We went to Sherwood CP at Easter and the pool was open as normal. No booking required.

Really? Thats good. Least one has cottoned on

Haven this weekend all the slots for swimming fully booked , still had a good time ofc just very annoying that people book and don't even show up

Maybe should charge £5 per person, refunded if you go.. then people wouldn't take the Mick lol 🤣

Eurovision coverage on the BBC.
I know it shouldn’t bother me but it has been mentioned daily on Radio 5 for weeks and now it’s intruding on my midweek casual tv viewing.
I don’t pay my tv licence to have this tripe shoved down my face all day long.

Over hyped as usual. Never watched it. One night was bad enough and now it’s on for a week.

Eurovision full stop.

Is inflicting this on the City yet another example of Scousers being "victimised" by the Establishment?
