Eurovision full stop.

Is inflicting this on the City yet another example of Scousers being "victimised" by the Establishment?

Ha ha I don’t mind Eurovision as such, I know to avoid it on the weekend it’s on, last I watched was probably when Bucks Fizz won. My gripe is the constant barrage from the BBC on all formats, I knew it would happen as soon as it was announced it would be in the UK.

People who don’t return trolleys to the bay and leave them all over the car park.
On that note, the number of people that reverse into their space at the supermarket and then have to shimmy between two cars to get their many shopping bags in the boot, as they are surrounded by other cars, particularly when they either leave their trolley in the way of the car next to them or if they did manage to get the trolley to the back of their car, then just leave it there

It's probably because it's the only thing they have on the BBC - they barely have any sport on

I spent nearly two hours today sorting out a problem with a new router.

My irritation

The Yanks not recognising £ and my android phone not having a symbol for $.

I needed both the desktop and the phone going at the same time to help solve the problem in getting an app to work.

The yank home website would not let me use £ as part of the login so as always I just used $.

Made me realise that there are a few other sites I will not in to on my phone unless I switch keyboard languages.

Random Irritation take 2

If only I had known how easy it was to have two keyboard languages on my phone and how easy it is to switch between them at 11am this morning.

Eurovision coverage on the BBC.
I know it shouldn’t bother me but it has been mentioned daily on Radio 5 for weeks and now it’s intruding on my midweek casual tv viewing.
I don’t pay my tv licence to have this tripe shoved down my face all day long.

Just seen the ITV evening news and it looks like the gay community have got really behind it and turned it into an event just for them. They seem to be flocking to Liverpool to watch it. Some of the outfits they were wearing on the train 😳

I don't think I've ever watched it but I know I can't stand it.

Semi-final 1 happened to be on when I switched the TV on this evening. We watched it for the best part of 2 hours and were thoroughly entertained.
Thursday and Saturday evenings' entertainment is now sorted.

Just found out that the lunch2desk mail I get at work is a 'no cost' option for a £13 meal delivered to the office and paid for by the firm, once per week. Have just pressed delete for the past year!! 🥶😪. A Penang curry awaits today when i get in! 😁

I was involved in computing long before the IBM home computer and clones. When I got my first IBM clone I had to phone up the company to explain to me why whenever I hit certain keys I got the wrong character. Pre IBM home PC all the best stuff was American and like you I was so used to typing on American keyboards and had not realised you change key functions within windows which the companies did before selling them.

PS I presume you know you change the key assignments within windows so one of the keys becomes a £ sign. I have got rid of my Caps Lock because I was always pressing it by mistake. Trouble is I cannot remember what key I assigned it to when I need it.

Forgetting to leave my strimmer line in a bucket of water the night before I was due to use it for the first time in weeks.
Schoolboy error.

Been hearing about the evolution of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The most misused reference I've ever heard about evolution which means the production of beautiful new life forms over a long period of time.
It does not mean a low grade loud noise and dancing in a large room.

I wonder if by any chance Portugal will vote for Spain, Cyprus for Greece.
Depending on where you are in Belgium you will vote for either Holland or France.
