Good and bad one
The good
I ordered a new club from Afforadable Golf about 5pm yesterday and it arrived today
The bad
As I walked out of my front door I nearly went flying because the delivery driver had left the club box straight across the door seal He had totally ignored the sign to say please ring the bell. Had I not left the house I would not even known it was there.

Eve mattress: We got an eve memory mattress for family member who is mostly bed ridden... it was doing alright, but now starting to sag. So wrote to them.... looks like Eve matteress is no longer a going concern. the new admins dont want to respond to any old emails or be liable for old warranties .

May have grumbled before, but people in the gym who sit on equipment and do sod all except block it from use. (And before anyone says anything, no they are not between reps - they are doing nothing...) Rhetorical question but why is it always fat people who sit there doing nothing except fiddle with their phone?

The company Havering council employ to collect the bins
9 years leaving the bins in the same place
Friday they missed mine and my neighbours (we have bags still unfortunately) took our orange bags (recycling) and 1 black bag. Easily done as it's a busy road and they have a lot to do
Reported within the time frame set out on the council's website which claims next day pick up
Obviously Saturday so allowed them ... Annoying tho as it would be Monday
Got email saying request complete .. came home bins still here
Rang them. They apologised but said the team said they came back at 11 .. I politely pointed out either the team are telling porkies or need to go to Specsavers as 7 black bin bags are still awaiting taking away
Let's see if they come tomorrow .. next collection is Friday anyways so meh won't be taking them back in

Last week should have been our green bin day. We got missed somehow, I’ve reported it 3 times and keep getting the email saying they have collected it. Bloody annoying. Don’t have the patience to phone them though. All a big shambles.

Our recycle bin boys will not pick up any Amazon-style cardboard boxes if it is not inside the bin. In the past, you could leave boxes on the side and they would toss it into the truck. No such thing now. So i have a very large pile of cardboard boxes that I now need to take the skip. It is ok, since they increased the council tax. Also wont take any glass bottles in blue bins or any metal pan on the side either.
