The Cricket Thread

i hear rumors that Eng is playing India in India.. Why is it not on Sky? Not going to pay another sub for cricket too.

On TNT. Sky is, in my opinion, becoming unessential for anyone who isn't obsessed with the Premier League. They have no rugby union any more, very little boxing that is not behind a paywall and less than half the cricket they used to cover. Also no WWE for my irritating nephew.

i m hoping they will have ryder cup on it, and the occassional F1. I only have sky because it was part of the virgin package but they removed TNT.

All the way. The shots some of the English batsmen made were stupid, but to allow the sub change as they did is just wrong. But as you say, because it's India in India with Indian umpires.
i can see all the Indian superstars are failing in their domestic circuit

TNT is also the new home for the 6 Nations rugby, all things cycling including the TdeF from 2026. Eurosport UK will be no more from the end of Feb. Both TNT and Eurosport are owned by WBD now.
At least as a Virgin customer you can get the TNT channles for a reduced price.

Seems TNT are not looking at the 6 Naitons

I think the issue with the 6 Nations is that it appears on the protected list, so has to have some FTA access, which has always been an issue for the TNT financial model.

I wonder if the 16-0 thumping in the ashes will be a wake up call for England women or will they still persist with “nothing is wrong here”

Just saw the highlights

Abhishek Sharma- 135 (what extraordinary batting. Eng did well to pull him/India back)
England 󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿- 97 all out
Abhishek Sharma won by 38 runs

Huge sums being invested in The Hundred teams.

A minority share in London Spirit went for £145 million.

Someone is doing quite well out of this and some must see a future.
