So Ben Stokes is moaning about being fined and docked points for slow over rates, saying it is unfair as the game finished early. He is missing the point that spectators pay a lot of money to see a days play and don’t appreciate being short changed as he “sometimes likes to change the field every ball”. Wasn’t he taught not to set fields for bad balls and do they not have a lot of ‘expert’ stats people who set plans for each batsman? Is he being found out as not the great captain some make him out to be?

Just been reading about how South Africa have climbed to the top of the World test Championship and can qualify for the final if they beat Pakistan 2-0 in their next series. The whole idea of the WTC is a joke as England have played twice as many tests as most of the other teams and have actually won more than SA have played this qualifying period. Surely, to have a meaningful league, every should play everybody else* and play the same amount?

* This also applies to the stupid thing that UEFA are doing for the Champions League, etc

Youngster opening for Australia on devout has come out from ball one and teed off. Hit some great shots and made 60. Kohli got a bit miffed at how he was treating the Indian bowlers and barged into him on purpose to wind him up. Great watching.

What a pri*k Kohli is being... intimidating a youngster. Reminds me of the 16/17 year old Sachin being intimidated by Pakistani bowlers and hit on his nose. He went on to a more successful career than all the Pak bowlers combined.

The age is absolutely irrelevant in test cricket.

Love a bit of aggression in sports but it was a pretty cheap shot by virat. Definite deviation in his path into the batsman. Loved the way he got both barrels back.
