This will be terrible IMO. Pro golfers rarely have good banter and it seems dreamt up in a rush. Like LIV, I'll give it a few watches but expect to switch off.
When Tiger first announced the opening of TGL I said that it would be a big bump for you guys.I own a indoor golf simulator business called Hyde Park Golf. I was super sad to see this delayed because I was so excited Tiger was making my dream come true!
It'd be interesting how the Simulator business does once TGL finally arrives. If it does genuinely pick up substantially, it could actually be a sign that TGL is playing a role in growing the game. I know that is a familiar saying these days, and would be great to see if it looks to have any impact. When Tiger first announced the opening of TGL I said that it would be a big bump for you guys.
The Simulator business just took a big hit in future business due to this postponement.
Are you saying it's dead in the water..?
Why wouldn't they. Always good to get the message out there. LIV weren't shy

Format seems sensible and has a decent broadcaster, and good players. It shouldAbsolutely - they should. Whether it will live up to the hype remains to be seen.

Depends on what they do to fill the gaps. Interviews, random challenges etc and it may keep its watchabilityIt'll fill a gap in the US market - but I fear it'll have a limited lifespan. Most people will tell you the novelty of hitting a ball into a screen soon wears off, and I don't see that being very much different with TGL.
Having said that, I hope I'm wrong and I hope it brings people to the game that otherwise wouldn't be interested.
Will I sit through 2 hours of a re-run on a Tuesday after work - not likely.
Only 98 nights now! On the edge of my seat
