I was being sarcastic at your attempt to start an argumentI don't know how you intend to create an argument over that, but that's ok.

A genuine question is not an attempt to start an argument.I was being sarcastic at your attempt to start an argument
Reminds me of one of my irritations: the way some places insist on using a stencil so you get less chocolate sprinkles on your cappuccino.Thought the tour was excellent and the Queens room is quite basic, although very tastefully done. Not the opulence one might expect.
Enjoyed a coffee and cake in the restaurant and liked the Royal Yacht logoed napkins and the way they did the logo on the cappuccino.
To be honest, I usually ask for no sprinkles, when I remember to watch my sugars!Reminds me of one of my irritations: the way some places insist on using a stencil so you get less chocolate sprinkles on your cappuccino.
Isn't a cappuccino without sprinkles just an extra frothy latte? To be honest, I usually ask for no sprinkles, when I remember to watch my sugars!
Busking in the street is one thing. You can walk away from it or stop if you choose. Not a bad attempt at Elvis/ Big Boy Crudup but I wouldnt want to be hostage to it if I had to move to avoid it.Oh good, another argument
Have you never seen videos of people busking on the tube.
I haven't been on the tube in over 15 years but I know if these 2 idiots got on, I'd be getting off
Oh, our excess is under £100The trouble is these days is the XS for windscreen replacement .
Not a cheap job since they started to glue them in.

What if they got on a bus and did it?
Or worse, climbed in your ambulance!
Did you nut the woman who cheered at the end?
Sky again. Current package up for renewal. My ex used to deal with it and seemed steep. My girlfriend called up as a new customer and was quoted less than half the monthly cost for exactly the same thing
Our daughter went through a very difficult crying at bedtime phase. The following was posted elsewhere that describes how we coped…and what we did given she had been getting off to sleep. We’ve had this a few times with Sophia (now 5), sometimes she just wants one of us there whilst she falls asleep. Have found the best way is not to fight it, lay there for a few minutes then say we need the toilet and we will come back. Falls asleep by herself 95% of the time.
Our daughter went through a very difficult crying at bedtime phase. The following was posted elsewhere that describes how we coped…and what we did given she had been getting off to sleep.
As she grew older, she would cry when we put her to bed, and we would always pick her up and cradle her until she settled again, only to cry again when we put her back down. We were desperate to find a solution that could help settle our daughter and allow us to get some rest. Dr Christopher Green’s book, “Toddler Taming”, was top-rated at the time, and he espoused the technique of “controlled crying” as a sure way to get your child to settle and then sleep.
Controlled crying involves putting our daughter to bed, quickly comforting, settling and leaving her, and periodically checking and reassuring her while she is settled. The idea was to help our daughter move away from needing us to feed or cuddle her to sleep. The key to the technique is that when our daughter cried, we would wait for a set amount of time before going back, say two minutes at first. Then we would leave her for a little longer each time – for example, four, six and eight minutes.
It wasn’t easy leaving our daughter to cry when our instinct was to pick her up. However, the controlled crying technique worked a treat for our girl, and she soon became a great sleeper.
Toddler Taming was our bible.
Frameless windows on the car, look great won't shut when it's icy
A fair bit of snow here last night and honestly the amount of idiots that can’t take the time to clear their car is unbelievable.
Accidents waiting to happen.
Shame you are so far away, my neighbour is retiring and is selling all the workshop kit from his carpentry business . Seen some nice kit on FB Market placeTime of the year where I look at re-investing retained profit in the workshop business and need a couple of new machines. One being a wide belt sander which is annoying at a price of £10k but more annoying that it is on a 4 month lead time.
Other is a free standing mortiser which looks like a medieval torture device.
