I tend to notice a big difference between a quality bit of meat and a cheaper supermarket one that’s been vac packed.

I do a coat of salt, leave for 20 mins. Then wipe the moisture away and repeat. Into the oven at 230 until the skin is bubbling up, then turn down until it’s cooked.

What oven do you have?

I did this one in the Ninja Woodfire bbq, it’s just like a mini oven/air fryer in reality. I’ll leave it in longer until the skin bubbles next time 👍

I ran over a cat once.
5am going to work it just ran out in front of me.
I stopped about 20yds further on and walked back to it.
It never moved but as I leant over it ,it jumped up with a mighty scream and ran away.
Frightend the bloody life out of me so got its own back.
At least it was ok.👍
That was probably life number 8.

The fact that there is no UK wide bus pass. In the UK it is only valid for the devolved region you are part of. I'm not a heavy user of it, but you would have hoped that it was not beyond the wit of man to set up a national bus pass scheme.

Isn’t it just a side effect of wanting independence just as we as a whole are finding with B?

Not really, as it also applies to Wales who don't seem to want Independence. I am not sure about Northern Ireland, but I imagine it's the same there.
Truth in what you say as a generalisation - I won't argue on those grounds.
But four MPs and thousands of voters might have something to say about it.

Probably to do with devolution of the Bus Companies. There is no National Carrier.

I don't know. I never bothered about it till I was old enough to need one. ;)
I'm genuinely interested as it made me think back to when I was a kid and would go on days out/mini holidays with my grandparents "across the border" but we'd always take the train and the reason they gave was that it was free for them as my grandad worked for British Rail for years and got free travel when he retired but they would have to pay for the bus.

This is early/mid 80's so before devolved government was a thing.

It happens. I'm also paying extra income tax because I live in Scotland.
