I’m genuinely confused here, where is the train track at monkbretton?
Monkbretton posh? 😂
I had to google the trains as well - apparently the station closed in the 30s but the line carried on serving the glassworks past this (no idea about when this was)

Compared to Lundwood and Cudworth, Monk Bretton is posh

I wasn't expecting follow up questions on my beans :)

Just for clarification.....
The man from Delm Asda delivers my purchases about once a month. They normally include a 6-pack of Heinz beans.
They get unpacked and put straight in the fridge to be called on later.
I'm not weird though, I don't have them with all meals.
I don't have them with chilli, Spag bol or curry.

The worst I saw was a guy who covered his Sunday roast with tomato sauce, how weird is that...unless you know weirder?

I've seen people put ketchup on a pizza before. So bizarre and unnecessary when the thing is caked in tomato sauce already.

Everyone knows that has to be brown sauce
I'm actually not a big sauce fan. I take my sausage sandwiches with butter only. Ketchup or brown sauce just overpowers the flavour too much for me. Love mayonnaise on chips, chicken strips etc, but I never take ketchup on anything and brown sauce is a rarity.

Went off Heinz beanz quite some time ago. Fewer and fewer beans and more and more sauce in the (ever decreasing sized) tins. Branston beans are just so much tastier. Add chilli powder and a bit of Lea and Perrins ...

Oh. And of course they are very nice untreated straight out of the fridge (y)

Sainsbury needs to open a store in Boston.

Once know as "Beantown" before all the bean canneries closed decades ago,
we don't have Branston beans here.

As an appreciator of legumes, I'd be anxious to try them after such a rousing endorsement.

They are the best by miles, slow cooked on the hob to thicken the sauce, heaven

Was originally a four track layout Midland mainline. Now just a single line

Having driving the whole of France twice in the last two weeks, the motorway manners and lane etiquette in France are *far* better than ours. Wasn't expecting that.

It's different in the town centres though!
By 'ours' I assume you mean 'Southern England'
I find a huge difference in driving manners between Scotland and the South of England.

Mind you I would not stretch that to the NC500 during tourist season.;)
