Stick to your guns. All too often companies allow orders to be placed when that customer already owes them, for fear of then not getting their previous invoices paid.I could have put this in the laughter thread, it could go either way.
A customer placed an order last night, their account is on hold because they have overdue invoices. I tell them this.
I come in this morning to an email which points out that according to their payment terms everything is fine. 1/ It is is our payment terms that matter, clearly marked on every invoice 2/ Even by their payment terms they are still overdue
Pay up, the order is going nowhere.
Surely there can't be that much difference in rebuilding costs around the country? We have unlimited building and it cost £70 for the year in June. Just done contents and got a similar price.Yes building and cotent .. Surrey pricing
wow... if i can ask. who is the provider. I would like some of itSurely there can't be that much difference in rebuilding costs around the country? We have unlimited building and it cost £70 for the year in June. Just done contents and got a similar price.
Have also had cashback of £35 and will be another £33 soon.
We absolutely will. We have most customers on a short leash when it comes to payment and if we have to lose this customer, it will be no great loss. The advantage we have with them is that they want a very niche product, they will struggle to get it elsewhere, certainly in the short term. We will not budge on this.Stick to your guns. It's a no win situation. If a smaller ground was used and it sold out there would be accusations that women weren't treated fairly and given the same opportunity as their male counterparts to support their team. Not if the place is like a morgue. I think you are also over estimating the lure of Hampden to anyone south of the border. The Edinburgh options, with the place jumping, would have been a far better option.
This year it was the Post Office for buildings and just done RAC for contents. I've never done combined and always go through Top Cash Back comparison for their cashback.wow... if i can ask. who is the provider. I would like some of it
I don't know the sorts of numbers they get in Scotland for women's games but they must have some experience to go off. England have toured the regions and sell out, ticket prices are cheap to be fair. The sold out the Stadium of Light up here recently as an example for the England v Scotland game, 40k people. No one complained, full ground, great atmosphere according to the lady at work who went. The game at a half empty Hampden didn't do the game any favours. It's a no win situation. Less of this talk and just get my order sorted, I've not got all dayWe absolutely will. I don't know what kind of business you're in, so no idea if this is even feasble...I could have put this in the laughter thread, it could go either way.

We offer that to some customers but not to all. A bad payer is a bad payer, a 5% discount isn't going to sway them.I don't know what kind of business you're in, so no idea if this is even feasble...
A lady I know who was a self-employed IT consultant sent out her invoices with the amount owed, but offering a discount if paid within X days.
She always got paid on time.

But it's the future..........I had a fair number of items at the checkout so I let the guy behind me who had two items so I let him jump ahead. He proceeded to frantically text on his phone while waiting, came to pay (£1.85) and wanted to pay by phone. Realised at that point he wasn't logged in, could not get it to come up on his phone and spent two minutes trying to pay by phone before walking away and making the cashier cancel his order before he could serve me. Plank!
But it's the future..........
Not in front of Robster it wasn't.....It's not. It's the now.
