Seems most adverts now have no relevance to the thing they are trying to promote. Everyone is going mad about the John Lewis Christmas ad but I bet you can’t buy a giant Venus fly trap plant in the shop! Also, most car ads don’t show UK spec cars or tell you much about what they are like. Txts that say "letter to follow"
Got a txt few weeks back about a scan I have tomorrow "letter to follow"
Called them yesterday they said we have gone paperless so unless your over 65 it will all be txt, I'm perfectly fine with that but don't say "letter to follow" if your now paperless

Argos delivery came calling on Monday to deliver a £240 bed. Strange, I didn't order a bed. It was meant for next door but I took it for him.
He didn't order the bed.
The bed had no delivery address just a item number and name.
I spent almost an hour today trying to get it collected and to arrange some sort of goodwill gesture payment when the line went dead. Waited 10 mins for her to call me back, she had my number. Nothing.
I started again, 20 mins later finally got collection confirmed for Sat 07.00-21.00 but I couldn't get any thank you voucher as there was no order number in the conformation e-mail I didn't get because I didn't order it.
So much for doing the right thing.
And now I can't do anything on Saturday until they collect the bed.
I should have sold it on Facebook

Hospital parking. No not the normal, the paying part has been done to death. We all know that's rubbish
However it's got a lot better, drive in, reg gets recorded and you pay when you leave at the machine
I totally forget to pay .. was driving out with little lady and was like ah bugger forgot. Not to worry there is a contactless payment on the barrier worst case

I have no interest in childish back and forth bickering, that's why I'm out of many threads, especially as you can't report the posts to the mods because a lot of times it's the mods that are part of it. (not all mods).or told them you were out
And that is why people leave the forum, the petty sometimes nasty ''banter'' that goes on.
