According to Google A vertical green line on a TV screen could be a damage cable going to the screen.
I get it when the only cable is the power cable...and it seems to power up fully and as normal - but I guess it might still be that...I'll see if I can find another that fits.

I'm not that bothered if its bust as I have another I can use in it's place. Just don't want to dump it if it is easily fixable as its a nice wee tv.

He is a dangerous man, spouting horrible views and living an exotic lifestyle. He is attractive to some young teens. I had never heard of him until he had been arrested recently but listening to teachers on the news they have to deal with his outpourings as kids copy him. He wont come across your radar, nor mine, but he impacts others so it is important for some to know who he is so that they can counteract his statements.

Our eldest teaches 16 to 18 year olds and she says the attitude of a lot of the boys she teaches is horrendous. They hero worship him. There are also the cultural issues she come across as well with how some of these boys view women.

I find it sad, as well as staggering, that this has happened. My own kids are 21 and 23 and they went through school with the clear understanding that men and women were equal, any other thought was incomprehensible. I've told them both, one boy, one girl, how sexism in the workplace in particular was commonplace for most of my time and they can't get their heads around it. I appreciate not every child will have that view but through my wife and i, our wider families views, the school (did a great job), that was how it was for them. To find that this caveman is spreading his bile around kids and they are buying into it is like going back in time.

It is a shame, more than that, that your daughter is having to raise the issues and counter idiots like this but it is an important part of her job that she is. The internet, social media, is a powerful tool. People like him are showing us just how powerful and how nasty it can be.

I find it bizarre how being arrested for sex-trafficking offences doesn't seem to have lessened his influence. But if it was paedophilia he'd be gone. Why the difference?

Sadly women are regarded as of no importance by a huge percentage of people. Plus look at Epstein, Maxwell, Prince Andrew etc etc It will be the tip of the iceberg I'm sure.

It is disgusting how some (not all ofc) boys today think of women. This scum bag has tapped into false fear of equality meaning the world is against them (last time I checked being a male didn't make it harder for me in any aspect of my life except mayb having a child.) And he has bread false information and just nastyness

Shame they let him out of jail

GP services. Absolutely disgraceful.

Anyone want to try to make an argument that this isn’t a contributing factor to the problem…

UK net migration in 2022 revised up to record 745,000

Mod edit; the link that has been removed contains quotes by the PM & the leader of the opposition - political.

Or you could equally make the argument that it's a failure to train, recruit and keep drs in the NHS due to outside interests of the private sector and mismanagement from top to bottom.

Easier to blame net migration than address the elephant in the room ...

We need migration, to support our aging population who now use the NHS more where as migration of working age come over, boost the economy and are less likely to need medical care.

Ah the old “we need them” argument… except we don’t really need three quarters of a million economic migrants do we? Every one of them will mean our housing, schools and NHS need to be stretched even further. These services are already overwhelmed.

If only there was some kind of system to improve and build more of them...

It's not an argument, it's factually correct.

Factually correct?…But the economy is in the doldrums already, how do you think we are going to afford the expansion?…How will we provide for the three quarters of a million that turned up last year?

There is not enough to go around at the moment for the 67 million that live on these islands, how do you intend to provide for the 3rd world at our doorstep?
