Random Irritations

If ever I doubted that house prices in London were insane…

I am reminded of my son and DIL when their first child was due to be born. Strong hints about moving closer to them.

I told them what I could afford - Right Move " sorry we do not have any properties at that price" the best they could find was a one bedroom flat 50 miles from them.
I think they quickly realised I was not giving up 5 bed detached to live in a one bed flat.

Had my Flu and Covid jabs last night. Had one in each arm and it was so sore I had to lie on my back and still didn't sleep well.
Today I thought I felt fine with no ill effects, but now I'm feeling like crud.

I had mine in the same arm - figured I'd have one good one then! Have to say I was relieved to not react much at all - a few muscle aches. Usually I'm rough as for a day or so with fever etc.

The struggle of finding preserving sugar in a shop

Weirdly as I do not use it for any other groceries, I use Amazon for any slightly obscure ingredients as rural Lincolnshire has a limited supply of anything that is even slightly out of the ordinary.

That's what is so annoying. Normally these things don't impact on me. I think it's down to living 40 years in Widnes. Breathe that air and you can survive anything!

A person selling something that doesn't read their messages or doesn't flag something as sold and ignores people.
People buying something from you, who don't turn up when they say they will, then turn up 3 hours later as if nothing happened.
