Whatever sickness bug the eldest brought into the house Thursday has been nothing but horrible

Wife was next
Then youngest
Now middle has started

Im not sure if last person standing is a good thing because I'll get it eventually I'm sure 😧

Well I done well to last this long. Looks like my turn

I'm just thankful I'm not suffering from slimes lack of water ATM.. that would be impossible to manage

Think I've run the washing machine 20 times since Thursday .. (checks 24 times since Monday) goodness sake

The over-emoting by the public and media about family issues of ‘celebrities’. Current ‘favourite’ being Luis Diaz. Of course I get his concern and the concern of his, and family, friends…and of course I hope things turn out well for them, but what we are getting at the moment seems just a bit over the top. It really isn’t one of the most important concerns for the country and of such importance that it is reported as headline news.

There are much more important things going on in this country and abroad at the moment that demand our attention and concern.
Whilst extremely sympathetic for all the family I agree entirely with your view.

Not sure of the numbers, doubt many are, but there must be many people kidnapped in Columbia each year and nothing is every heard about it.

206 kidnapped in 2016 which is much lowere than in the 70’s

Strangely, I thought there was next to no covereage about it untill yesterday when he uncovered his shirt.

Have you thought that perhaps some on here felt the same way about your going on about how hard done by your son was?

The Rock dressed up as David Beckham
There's pictures in SM of a kid dressed in a red shirt, black Nike cap and Green Jacket
I thought Halloween was supposed to be about being spooky.?
Dress up as a ghost or a witch or a zombie.....David bloody Beckham....Tiger...
Must be getting grumpier.......but I just don't get it...
I think I had the best trick or treater. Big fat mum, no costume, pushing a trolley with a wrapped up, I would say about two year old, holding out a plastic Blackpool beach sandcastle bucket. I was lost for words..

Going into Aldi and finding the price of Terry’s Chocolate Orange has increased from £1 last Christmas to £1.50. I know it is not Chrissy but it is with those items and last year I bought 12.
Have you tried the limited edition mint one?
Oh my, so gorgeous and similar to a matchmaker in taste, but more rewarding:)

After a 20 minute pedestrian queue to get some water for a couple of my more vulnerable clients, I return to my car to find a parking ticket on the screen.
Next time I'll queue with the traffic and add to the already ridiculous traffic congestion!

Some of that on social media was to do with the actors strike. Actors under instructions not to dress as anything associated with films so many dressed as other celebrities

Having to browse the "New Boiler" thread because our 25-year old Glow Worm seems to have finally bitten the dust. 😢

Bleeding the radiators and then the Mrs tries to turn the heating on to flush the system ready for winter and the boiler packs up. You can already tell who has received the blame for this!

"We have delivered your parcel to a safe place: Front Door."

How on earth is that a safe place? The term 'safe place' has no meaning anymore, it's just been adopted by delivery firms to mean 'this is where we dumped it, good luck'.

I'm in Germany next week with work. I'll have connecting flights so I'm looking to download some stuff for when I'm sat in airports, on flights. The perfect binge would be the new Bosch series.........except you can't download that one 😠. I can watch it live but that isn't much use when I don't have access to wifi.

The exponential increase in adverts in YouTube videos that seems to have started in the last week or so.
I can pay them "only" £12.99 a month to avoid them. That's about the same as the entire TV licence fee! What are they smoking?

I watch waaaaaay more YouTube than TV. I pay for YouTube. Easily the best value subscription I have.

I pay the 13 quid and get way more value from it than I do the license fee tbh.

I believe you can avoid them watching through a browser with an ad blocker as well but I like using the app so view it as money well spent.

In the age of ad free streaming I've developed a real hatred of adverts now - I rarely watch live TV other than sports.
