Having one in tough conditions at Pebble and come oh so close last night I get the impression he is a grinder. Most likely to threaten when scoring is tough and par is a positive. That said I don't know enough about his track record and previous wins. Dot hose in the know would you say G-Mac is more likely to thrive in tough scoring conditions?

Did you not see the golf at the weekend? He said himself he is a masochist and enjoys the challenge of a really tough course. I think he's my favourite European. He is ice cool.

Afraid not. No Sky at my house and even if there was my new baby daughter wouldn't have allowed it ;) What you say makes everything make sense though. Thanks

I think you need a modicum of talent and ability to go with temperament to achieve what GMac has.

Yes.
He can keep it tidy when others are coming off the rails.
He can play well in bad weather.
He's a terrier, not a show dog......

I rate him, but couldn't see him winning a -15 major tournament.....which is an odd assumption because he's done -15, -19, -24 !:) on the European Tour.
