How are they?
Tracksuit bottoms are thick fleecey things designed for warmth aren't they? Golf joggers are literally just the same as normal golf trousers (i.e. thin, lightweight material) only the ankle part is gathered with elastic.

I owned lots of tracksuit bottoms throughout my life and not one was thick or fleecy. They were lightweight so you could run round the track in them.
I think I know about the thick fleecy type, but never owned any. They would be what Americans referred to as sweatpants.

I know what you mean, I wear them for football, they still look absolutely nothing like golf joggers. 😃

But golf “joggers” look awful

Can’t remember the last time I jogged playing golf
I have two pairs and they don't look awful at all. Quite handy in winter as well as it stops the bottom edge getting drenched in mud. But I wear mine with normal socks, not the little tiny ones with your ankle on show - so I think that helps a lot to be honest. I'd agree they look silly when people have their ankles on show, especially with really smart shoes like Justin Thomas does. 😂

Not sure I’ll be taking your views on board given you can’t even tuck your shirt in

I have been tempted in the depths of winter to just wear my normal black joggers to the course and see if anyone notices

I have the capability to tuck my shirt in, but I choose not to because I'm not a schoolboy. 😂
Perhaps your second childhood. 😉

I passed our local high school a couple of days ago as the pupils were all coming out. I commented to my wife that none of the boys seemed to have their shirts tucked in. She then counted well over 100 boys and only saw two with their shirts tucked in

Jesus H. Christ, what the ficken are "golf joggers"?
Or cares? When you think about it, why does it matter?

I know right. It really shouldn't matter , I doubt my club would give a rats

I don't think we have an official dress code

Just to clarify, you & your wife were outside a school counting the children and checking out their state of dress? Is your first name Fred? Hers Rosemary?

100% with you on the untucked shirts.
I mostly couldn't care less what anybody else chooses to wear in any situation. Golf joggers though. I'm not sure that the fake "just out of prison" chic and golf fashion should ever be allowed to mix.

I do. I have Adidas and Underarmor joggers which are warm and slightly water resistant for winter that I wear playing golf in the winter.
