Socks - what's your clubs rules

That was my thinking to be honest, I was trying to think of a cunning way around it. The obvious way though is simply to avoid that club in the first place

It depends on the club and how keen I was to tick it off my "to do" list"

Sadly I feel that if a club insist on knee high socks you can bet there will be members that can see it dropped an inch below regulation height from 100 yrds away and won't be worried about crossing three fairways to let you know

Clubs who insist on certain socks can jog on. Won't be getting my money. A certain club in Fife would never be on my summer radar due to their idiotic insistence on knee length socks.

Only time I wear trousers for golf is the coldest depths of January and February.

after the warm weather at the Old Farts meet I was more offended by some of the legs on display rather than the socks being worn
