Where did you get 10 hours from? I said ‘a bit longer’ and the round in question took less than 4 hours.
A bit can be any length, my point is that if you are waiting you are not playing golf. and I quoted ''I’ll never understand people getting angry at spending a bit longer in the sun playing golf''. I do understand it if you don't One has to accept busy times with good grace but I would be walking off my own course frequently for a four hour round , it's not necessary.
If someone is messing around with a camera not playing golf I would probably be a bit irritated they are not in a position to play through . If you want to film, let other people through and wait for a quiet moment to film.

I'm not trying to defend rude behaviour, but the reason why people get irritated by slow play is because they are not playing golf, they are having to wait to play it.

Depending on other circumstances such as how long you are waiting , what other things you may have to do , what the conditions are like etc, you may accept it with reasonable degree of equanimity . But would you be happy waiting for 10 hours because the weather was nice?
Let's be honest, in a round of golf (no matter if that's 3 hours or 5) you're only actually playing golf for about 25 minutes so it's only the bit in-between that they're waiting for. Just enjoy the fact you're outside, with friends, hopefully in nice weather.

Irritated or not they had no right to speak to him the way they did and he was being held up so why should he let them through where were they gonna go apart from then holding him up.

Sometimes people need to learn to be patient and realise it’s not all about them

I watched the vlog last night. Personally I'd have waved them through on account of using the camera to do a course vlog. If he's then backed up the lads he's called through, then he makes them look like pricks, and it makes for a much more enjoyable vlog, less stress for him, plus the next group back can see where the issue is.

The guy comes across as a decent bloke - but you'll always get knobheads on golf courses that think pace of play trumps everything. If you've got a slow group that won't call you up, then there's not a reight lot you can do about it, but in this case I think he could have maybe saved himself a lot of the anxiety that he was clearly getting both on the course, and in the car park afterwards.
