I didn’t understand the language, only some English snippets. Difficult to get involved there.I find if you start talking very loudly when near to them, it can have the effect of them putting it to their ear instead![]()

I think a lot of people use facetime or alike and forget that a phone can just make calls the old fashioned way.
Waiting for the mrs to get ready to go out for Indian.
How can it take SO long???

If she’s anything like my good lady, once you get to the restaurant she’ll be painfully slow ordering, and you’ll finish every course at least thirty minutes before she does.
I always remember the first time my wife had fish in a restaurant with me. I finished my meal a full hour before her as she picked every single bone out of her fish and put a single piece on the end of one prong of her fork for every mouthful.
I’ve said to her in the 25 years since that if she ever orders fish in a restaurant I’ll be walking out.
I have a friend who joins in the conversation if someone uses a speaker phone near him. Apparently it soon makes them go back to a normal callWhen did people decide that the only way to take phone calls in public is on the speaker phone?
Or you could have read the emails sent to you advising of this and make the neccessary changes required from your end.The Dartford crossing. A massive con ever since it was sold. Was suppose to be free once paid for. It's costs have been covered for years now and it's pure profit. Fine cool. Have an account.. no issue
They decide to take it down this weekend as it's been taken over by another company , so rather than going well let's make it free for the weekend , nope lets suspend the payments from your accounts with money in and make you manually pay them by Tuesday
What could possibly go wrong with how many thousand trips needing paying for

If you are going to be smart be actually correct next time
That's rich coming from the guy who has spent £xx,000 on solar panels, heat pumps, batteries, and possibly wind turbines and hamster wheels and thinks that he is getting a lot of "free" electricity.
Sorry to burst your bubble but it ain't free until it has paid for your outlay/debts and interest/loss of interest on savings/etc buddy.
Oh bugger.. you've just reminded me I drove to London club and back last week on Tuesday and I can't remember if I went and logged in and paid the Dart charge or not. I'm guessing not. What an appalling system to leave the impetus on the driver. Why not just send a bill? Hmm.The Dartford crossing. A massive con ever since it was sold. Was suppose to be free once paid for. So. That's what? Another 10/15 years until you get your "free" electricity?Well the systems been up and running since may 2022 and already money saved to date is just north of £2000.. so forgive me if I won't listen to your frankly "pants" assesment

Let us know when you have reached break even point and then we will marvel at how well you have done. Actually, don't bother. By that time I will either be in a home or no longer and either way couldn't give a
Your panels will have a 25 year warranty, but not the inverter and battery. But considering a system lasts 25 years yes after it's "paid for" it will have paid for itself twice over once it reaches end of life.

Powerwall has a 10 year warranty, right? And we don't know what it's lifetime might be after that. Chances are that it will last significantly longer, but nobody really knows. And as a high usage household it's going to go through a lot of recharge cycles fairly quickly.
As for the inverter, there's plenty of real world evidence that typical MTBF for inverters is about 10 years.
