Booking/transaction fees when booking tickets. £2.50 per ticket today when booking theatre tickets today - and it would still be an extra £1 each if we got paper tickets. Obviously £46 a ticket doesn’t cover all the cost

The occasional (thankfully rare) guy who comes to Sunday morning mixed social tennis and seems to think it's an opportunity to smash everyone off the court. Takes nothing of the power regardless of the opposition. Warmed up opposite him and the weight of his groundstrokes meant my warm up basically hurt my wrist and shoulder. First serve he aces me by a country mile. "Ok Amanda" I thinks "step back a bit, give yourself time to react and try your best to block it back" - he underarms it just over the net.
What a total plonk. Second time I've been on court opposite him - I won't do it again.
Before anyone replies "why shouldn't he" - it's a social mixed session and none of the decent players would dream of attending as it's not the standard they would (should) get anything out of. Just one or two like to get some sort of ego boost.

I’m paying €3.70 for a pinta, and €2.00 for a glass of wine, Spanish measure. Paid a shocking £2.00 for a bottle of wine in the supermarket, up from €1.85.

The attitude of many parents and some players in youth football. I ran the line during a round robin tournament for my older son today, and the disrespect shown towards the refs was horrible. Two opposition players and an opposition manager were yellow carded/sin binned for swearing at the ref in a pre-season friendly tournament. Bearing in mind this was an U15 pre season event with nothing riding on the outcome it was horrendous. Two of the sin bins were for comments directed at a 16 year old ref, one "Are you ******* blind ref?" from a player and the other was "You're ******* biased ref" from the coach. Neither of these comments came from a player or coach from the team that won the tournament so this isn't a sour grapes comment, but why are there people out there that think this sort of behaviour is acceptable? I think that the local FA's need to make it clear that hese kinds of comments aren't acceptable and that there will be serious consequences for the clubs that are involved.

I've gone on the Dart charge government site and it's absolutely useless. I can't check for crossings that have been logged to my registration. When I tried to pay it said I was only paying for future crossings so that was no good. It seems I can't pay for a missed crossing now until I receive a penalty charge notice?? And every page has a 45 minute wait on it now because of 'high demand'. I'm currently waiting in such a queue just for the contact page so I can ask them!
This is honestly one of the worst payments systems I've ever seen. Why can't you just punch your reg in, it tells you how many crossings have been attributed to that car, and then you pay for them? No that would be far too simple. Let's make it an absolute nightmare for people, so that they're much more likely to miss payments and then we can fine them. Great money making scheme. Tossers.

Touchline Dad's are some of the worst ever. Screaming and terrifying their kids to "play percentages " and "exploit the space" and worst of all "let him have it". And abusing teenage officials, which takes a lot of guts I'm sure.

From memory I paid and then realised I'd paid for a future crossing! Then got the penalty notice but there was a simple process to "appeal" it and just pay the crossing charge (again!)

It is the most baffling and dumb system going. It seems you can create an account, maybe that makes it easier but I can count on one hand the amount of times I have to use the crossing so I haven't bothered with that.
