The mind-boggling size of the USA.

2.4 million votes cast in Scotland in 2024 general election.
In the state of Pennsylvania the number of voters was 7.75 million. Over 3-times that of Scotland.

The land area of the state of Colorado is more than twice the land area of England.
Is this a random irritaton of yours? 🤣

I replied similarly not having spotted yours 👍
Over the years I've found the CEO route highly effective.

I've done it twice, once with Goldsmiths when they were taking the mick replacing her faulty engagement ring and once for a friend who was getting mugged off by Scottish Power, both times it was sorted in 48 hours.

In this instance, there's a case that they're harassing a 92 year old dementia sufferer, if Rich puts that in his email they won't want that getting to the press, which he should threaten is the next step. It's just basic stuff he's asking them to do.

Have you got the app? I renewed mine on there and the saving per month is really good.
I’ll have look,cheers.
Current deal doesn’t expire until January.
The “deals” they offer aren’t actually good deals, they’re what you should be paying.
They offer you these “amazing deals” to get you locked in.
Personally I don’t think they should be able to increase your bill whilst in contract either.

You’ll do well to talk to anyone you can understand.
They keep calling me to renew my broadband & im yet to speak to anyone I can.
I could be signing my life away 🤷‍♂️
It happens so often with help lines, call centres etc and I feel so uncomfortable saying "Im sorry, I didn’t (i.e.can't) understand that, especially when that person has a thankless job but is genuinely trying to help. But, I'm paying for a service and, too often, it just has to be said.

Yeah 100%, I went from £120 pm to £70 so it felt like I was winning.

Yes, I have irritation at attempting to conceive the true vastness of the USA as one country.
I just can't convince myself that I have the correct conception of it even though I have travelled around 11 states from Washington in the NW corner down to Texas on 4 separate trips.

I've tried to imagine UK, Spain, France, Germany and Italy as one unified country. The populations would then be equivalent, but only about a quarter of the land area of the USA.
I'm sure we would win every World Cup forever more, though.

I was previously with Sky for broadband & their customer service was spot on.
But their broadband in this area was poor.
I don’t think it’s too much to ask to be able to understand someone whose job it is to speak to you.
