Virgin Media sales team.
Dad's been a customer since they took over NTL 20ish years ago.
Despite repeatedly being told not to by me and staff at his care home, they keep calling his mobile to try to sign him up for new services. He's 92 and has dementia.
Despite being happy to talk to me when it has come to renewing his contract over the last 10 years, I'm apparently not authorised to tell them to stop calling him.
Do they have a vulnerable person or dementia policy? Might be worth checking out as many large companies do now.

Yep. But all their contact numbers and email addresses seem to just get funnelled to the same group of useless muppets.
Next up, have you complained via their social media platforms? FB or similar. Obviously don't give personal details but going a little public on social media can often be quite successful. They react quicker there than with a private email or phone call.

I guess OFCOM would be another option, although they are pretty toothless.

This forum is as close as I get to social media.
I've lodged another complaint, so I'll see what happens. The silly thing is that there's nothing they can get him to agree to that I can't instantly reverse through his VM account and he's got no credit card if they want him to buy a new £1000 iPhone.

Is that a typo or a new definition?
And that would involve supporting Musk, so it's a no from me.
Thank you for the suggestion though.

Straight to the top mate,

lutz.schueler@virginmedia.co.uk.

thats the CEOs email address, they'll have a team monitoring his inbox. They won't hang around once you go that route.

*work for a company in an industry that frequently gets CEO complaints.

Why does he need a VM account?

If it's just for the phone, there are mobiles out there designed for the elderly. You could just get him one of those and do PAYG.

He's in a care home but still has his house, which we take him to at least once a week for a day out. VM TV and broadband at the house.

The law of averages when it comes to Super King bedding. Mattress topper, wrong way around first time. Bottom sheet, ditto. Quilt into quilt cover, ditto.

Every time. New quilt so as usual assumed the lines would go down the bed. Nope. Left it to sort its life out.

Email straight to CEO
Lutz.schueler@virginmedia.co.uk requesting his intervention.
He won't reply but someone important with access to his mail will reply "on his behalf". Its a ploy I use often, succesfully, with companies

Their broadband is good, the people they employ are idiots from my experience.

The mind-boggling size of the USA.

2.4 million votes cast in Scotland in 2024 general election.
In the state of Pennsylvania the number of voters was 7.75 million. Over 3-times that of Scotland.

The land area of the state of Colorado is more than twice the land area of England.
