People all over the media climbing all over each other to say why they aren't going to watch the Coronation. If you don't want to watch it, don't watch it but why do we all need to know? I haven't watched any of Line of Duty but I don't go on about it all the time (Damn, just have!)

Presumably because someone asked them?

Got in nice and early today, logged in and I only have 2 documents for review. Going to be a long day of pretending to look busy then.. It's days like this when I'm even more annoyed that I'm not allowed to work from home as often as I'd like. Spent longer time travelling in than the amount of time I'll spend actually working.

Tried to get to work yesterday. It’s a 10 mile drive across the city so never quick. Got to within a quarter of a mile then hit queues of traffic - tried from the other direction - same result and noted the police had blocked the the only road to the office.

Turns out there is a factory manufacturing drones near to the office, which is owned by a UK company with an Israeli holding company. There are a large number of Palestinian protesters camping on the road in tents and also lying across it. They intend to protest until the factory closes down. They claim the drones are being used against their people, the company are adamant that they do not supply drones to Israel. I have no idea who is right.

I am now having to work from home for the rest of the week, which fortunately I can, and hope that the disruptive part of the protest is over by next Tuesday.

The 5 Live midweek football coverage. They've got commentary teams at all the matches but just spend 3 hours waffling in the studio and only go to the grounds for a description of the excitement that we've missed. Just give me a commentary! I don't even care which match.

What's the point in looking at weather forecasts? These are two from the Met Office and BBC Weather for my town on Sunday.....

Trying to decide whether to arrange to go to an outdoor event or not and I've either got a pleasantly warm day with only a 10% chance of rain or I've got a 60% chance of rain for most of the time I'll be out.

I have 3 apps I use, accuweather , met office and then Google

If 2 of them agree I'll go with the average

Blooming annoying but then someone once explained reason the good old U.S of A are fantastic at weather is that they can track it over the masses of land where as our tiny island the weather is always changing and harder to predict

Does make you think why they bother lol 😭😆

I would ignore these forecast and use XCW weather app much more reliable.

You prob have been done now days.

I got done a few weeks ago and the new guns have recording cameras just laser you get a pic of speed and number plate ticket issued

Fair cop tbh I was going slightly over the limit but within the 10% plus 9 for speed awareness

Like yourself the road is dual carriageway, any houses are set well back from road, similar road in the area is 50 but this is 30

Anyways fair cop.

However I was in a loan car from the garage

So offence was 5th Feb

Issued 13th Feb , got to them in time etc

That goes to their lease company, then to them then to me

It's the 29th march. I've seen (got it on the phone) the pic of me speeding and the intention to prosecute in their name

Anyways 29th march and it's STILL not with me

Well, I chased and chased with vauxhall, "oh didn't you contact the police" no I didn't. Because it says "If this letter isn't addressed to you do not fill in" so you have to fill it in and send to them

Oh what's your details again

This was couple weeks ago

Got the offence in my name (finally) Saturday 22nd April

Today I got my offer of speed awareness, online aswell happy days

However for goodness sake vauxhall you made it take almost 3 months? Talk about dragging it out

Started my new volunteer role at the hospital last Monday. Been sick as a dog for a few days. Spoke to GP today about terrible moulth ulcers I'm left with (puking and nausea subsided) and she said it sounds like how Covid is now presenting. Test and yep - positive. I might be rethinking my volunteer role...

XC Weather, for this part of the world at least, tends to be different from the BBC and the Met Office but just as inaccurate.

Surprised to hear that , I’m a fisherman and need to know about weather conditions and XC Weather is the best forecast I’ve found.
