One of our brand new Neff ovens seemed to be malfunctioning last night…maybe just ‘user error’, but given the control display light was also not ‘steady’, I think not.

So new I haven’t even yet got around to registering it for the guarantee, though I think Howdens or our kitchen fitters might have done it for me.

Have to report that a call to BSH (who provide Neff appliance customer support) last Tuesday saw an engineer visiting on Friday, and he found and fixed the issue quite promptly…fortunately the issue was not ‘user error’ and all sorted. I have TBH and say that the whole experience was a lot easier and much less of a stress than I feared.

Just when I thought I can't get fooled again, it happened to me in Aldi of all places yesterday.
Spotted a bargain on the shelf had increased by 50% at the checkout.
Big queue behind so couldn't argue.

Been a bulb customer for a very long time. Now have been acquired by Octopus. £350 quid bill this month. Scrolling thru it and it says ‘estimated reading’.. what happens to the Bulb smart meters? I thought they were SMET2 and compatible with eveyone

Talk to octopus and find out why, they might not be smet2 for one but even still you should be able to give meter readings and base on proper usage

Btw I know we spoke before about powerwalls. Apparently price has dropped , however TEP doesn't exist anymore. Octopus made their own version tho.

There are, currently, 3 sets of roadworks with traffic lights in the vicinity..2 or which are on my route to the club....
Since Friday, all 3 have been left working...with nobody actually doing anything..
No trucks, no vans, no diggers, no workforce
All workings are several feet away from the edge of the road, one of them hasn't even got any workings evident at all...
And, yet, we have to sit and wait for the lights to turn over to green, when a little thought would have moved them onto the side of the road to prevent 1/4 mile queues.

Never been the biggest fan of glass backs to phones.. they look premium but the glass always seems just like asking for trouble

new phone couple weeks ago maybe a month.. sure enough the glass has cracked on the back (must have been either yesterday or the day before)

yes I dropped it out my pocket only bit I dont get is its in a case (their own case they recommend) so whats that about! no wonder I didnt notice until today when ive swapped my sim, never would have noticed tbh
