Following the 'raging' thread and several others about the current conditions and weather (& just for fun) can everyone playing over the weekend take a picture from the tee of the first par 3 hole they play and post it to this thread

Just something that captures the conditions of the day, might be fun/interesting to see what everyone was faced with

Thought this was a great idea, then forgot all about it, although it was raining at the time I was on the first par 3. Will try to remember tomorrow.

Damn, I forgot as well ... it's such a great hole. Pared it as well :)

Here is a pic that was taken last year from a bit in front of the lady's tee. The way the hole is built everything short rolls down into that damn bunker. It's the only hole on our course that actually has a name. It is called "Schmitzgrab", meaning "Schmitz's tomb". Schmitz is the name of the family who own the grounds.

Well that idea for a thread didn't catch on

No matter & thanks to those who added pics

Here's the first one I played (3rd hole) and even more pleased to post since I made birdie :)

Weather wise the threatened thunderstorm didn't happen so it was a rain free round & just the white clouds to keep the sun off

Its a short par 3 about 140yrds with water on 3¾ sides but the greens big enough to catch most shots (although plenty seem to still drop one in the water)

Went on to make three birdies on Saturday which I've never done in a single round (usually one every 6-8 rounds!) so very chuffed with that
