Q5 is a nice car but costs over 40k! The car absolutely has to be brand new. Thanks for all the advice though guys - time to test drive a couple and put up with salesmen chirping in my ear! Is tax based on list price or purchase price?

OOOh, there's an idea, I could leave my executive S80 as a swap - seems fair to me, it's worth in excess of £150 and needs about £400 spending on it!
