Never say never, but the odds are probably pretty close to never.

It is USA versus Europe, I'd have never thought it would be considered to play in Saudi Arabia, China, Australia, Canada or wherever else in the world outside the US and Europe.

Part of the occasion is the excited home support at each event, the chanting, the banter. Very much makes it what it is. If it was in Saudi Arabia, I suspect the atmosphere would take an absolute killing, make it quite an anti-climax.

Can’t see the Ryder Cup ever bein in Saudi but don’t be surprised to see a Tour v Tour event mooted very soon.

Edit.
Apologies GB72, beat me to it.

Cannot see the Ryder Cup going to Saudi but if LIV continues as a separate entity, I can see a new competition against the PGA or DP Tours.

The diary is pretty full these days anyway , the years there isn’t the Ryder cup they have the Presidents Cup - a tour Vs tour imo would be a non event

I’ve followed this whole thing with intrigue. My personal opinion is that I hope every player who rejected LIV on moral reasons walks away from this new entity but that’s easy to say from this side of the proverbial fence.
Never going to happen they are as greedy as ever.
With even more money coming into the game ,the love of money ,however much you have will be the driving force.

It won’t be played in Saudi - why would it

Simple MONEY..

All of this is because of money..

If the Saudi's offered 10 x what The DPWT and PGA of America would normally get do you think they would turn it down ??

"Oh were growing the game by playing it there" they would say...

All of these party's will do anything to get the money, that's been shown by all of them now and it truely doesn't matter where it is coming from.

The money is the power in all this, make no mistake about that...

Will players have to wear dressing gowns while they play, or only when they lift the trophy ?

The Ryder Cup won’t be played in Saudi - it doesn’t need Saudi money. Not everything can be bought.

Ryder Cup is Europe Vs USA - Saudi Arabia is in neither of those areas

This LIV v PGA Tour idea. How does it work if some of the LIV people are allowed back on the PGA Tour? They could be picked for both teams!

One good aspect, if played along Ryder Cup lines, is that it would be a proper team event, unlike the current LIV fiasco where you could want your teammate to do badly because he threatens you in the individual standings.

No such prospect. LIV will be retired. There wont be two separate groups of players anymore. The purpose of buying a share into the PGAT was to bring them all back together. There would be no point in a single corporate structure and still keeping the split fields.
