aaaaand...the two Luke's have won the World Speed Golf Pairs. Plus 6th and 7th in the individual. So they are now both the British and the World Pairs Champs. Well done lads. Great stuff.(y)
And so that means that my wee Surrey golf club is now home to two #1s in the world of golf….that’s not bad…very chuffed and proud🕺👍

Dropped my Garmin on my drive before I teed off. Didn't notice until I got to the course

Luckily my neighbour was in and posted it through my letter box when I txt him

What is even nicer is somehow I managed to not run it over when I A moved the wife's car (she parked wrong way round asked me to turn it) and B when I turned my car round to leave

That was lucky

Nipped to the range before my night shift

30 balls as I wanted to be quick but work on a few things

Someone had left some balls in the auto loader .. no idea how many at the time

Turns out 30 free balls lol 🤣 managed to really work out my driver issue

Official Augusta National film of the 2024 Augusta National Women's Amateur that Lottie Woad won (Lottie being first British woman/girl to win it - though it’s only been going since 2019 - still) . Also has a nice bit about Tilford (known to some of this parish) - the village outside Farnham where she's from, and a bit filmed on her home course

Clubhouse ground floor major reconfiguration and revamp nearing completion - a group of us sneaked a look around today with one of directors who explained some of the decision making and vision - and it does look splendid. Managed to keep all of what remained of the old intimate pre-19th Century farmhouse clubhouse character and a total revamp of the more recent (1930s and later) extensions. Hoping we are able to have the first and opening event - the club children's Christmas party - in it on the 14th...going to be tight but looks like we'll (just) make it.

Our scratch team are off to Monte Rei for the weekend, to compete in the final of the EAGG as per the above.

Defending champs + they also won the Surrey Scratch knockout. Some team!

Our weekly top tracer league. 2 groups of 6 pairs, all play at same time over 9 holes to decide top 2 in group who will play semis/final in next 2 weeks. Been a good laugh, nothing serious at all with lots of mickey taking between all the teams, about half who I have not met before. We have lost every match so far, last chance tomorrow to get a win but enjoyed it loads and hopefully the club will do something similar in the New Year.

Found one of these in mint condition a few weeks back (must've been a one hitter) and got round to playing it last weekend, what a cracking wee ball. Hopefully someone round these parts starts stocking them soon so I can get a couple of dozen

I found one of those the other week as well, the green one. In my bag as a provisional right now. Without scale they kind of look like footballs or volleyballs in this picture, ha.

I did the same in the summer. Found one and played a couple of social rounds with it. It was a blue one.
Taylormade Speedsoft Ink. Some places here selling them for £27 a doz.
Without the fancy paint job, the ordinary SpeedSoft white or yellow are £22 a doz.
Seriously good value for money for an "all-rounder" type of ball.

Look in the rough...you'll find plenty.....but look hard as they're almost invisible

Did you find it on the fairway? Looks like a camouflage ball, must be really difficult to play.

What genius marketing from TM though. Charge more money for a ball which is easier to lose, so you have to buy more balls 👏
