Dress code in an AGM?

Just had ours. The club officers all tend to wear J&T, the plebs usually smart casual. I wore my tuxedo because I consider myself better than anyone else.

Had ours last weekend. Was meant to have been the week before but the committee overlooked the fact that our local Premier League team was playing and it was the Calcutta Cup match was on. No wonder not enough people turned up!
Top table mob wore jacket and tie, the rest wore whatever they wanted.

Same for me but different County - usually a decent enough turn out. Some will be in blazer and tie - not me.

I sit at home in my jacket and tie while entering my online proxy vote. I mean would one expect any less.

I like smart dress at formal occasions but draw a line at a shirt tucked into someone's underpants, my old Dad told me never trust anyone who does that.
