Best par 3 you’ve actually played

My problem with these types of questions is that I have trouble remembering which holemis which..
I've played loads during H4H games but as they're always shotgun starts it messes with my recollection of hole numbers....
I like the short 100 yarder or so at Blackmoor , I like the 11th at Hayling as I always seem to par it, there's a nice short one at Hankley (2nd?)
I like our 10th too....140 yards , about 15 yards downhill, 2 tier green, bunker in front, 2 bunkers left and one right and a drop-off if you go long.
And OB all down the left side....

2nd at Hankley is v good ( I blobbed it 🤪) but the 11th at Hayling is as good a par 3 as anywhere IMO

Amongst the best I’ve played are:

7 @ Hankley
13 @ Notts
13 @ Swinley
9 @ JCB
4 @ Sherwood
15? @ Cavendish

That’s a great hole, the 10th over the estuary ain’t too bad either.
I have a soft spot for the short par 3 at Dunstanburgh, 13th maybe? Similar shot over the cliffs but a lot shorter and the castle in the background 👌
I know that one very well. The flooded field behind it might look strange. Great hole though and always an audience.

15th Kingsbarns and 17th Castle Course are two memorable and visually spectacular par 3s but I find them both one dimensional as you’re either on the green or in the sea. I do like them but I don’t find them fun on repeat visits.

I like a par 3 that has more tricks to it and variety, makes you question it every time you tee the ball up. So for me it’s going to have to be the 11th on The Old Course. I’ve hit everything from a 9 iron to Driver off the tee and had all sorts of results. It’s a really under appreciated hole. A hole where you can score a two and feel robbed as equally score a nine and feel you’ve played it well on the day.

Runner up: the Postage Stamp.

Well, some lovely photos, but the sixth at Eyemouth is better that all shown here so far. in my humble opinion. (y) Add to it I parred it off whites. God alone knows how I got the ball up and over the massive, daunting drop Ill never know. Super course. Super fish and chips as well!

The 5th at Teign Valley in Devon.

About 120 yards long, pencil thin green with a small, pond that goes along the left hand side and around the back. Hit the green and you'll have a decent birdie opportunity. Miss left and you're either in the hazard or possibly having to play over the hazard with no green to work with.

Just a flick with a wedge but a real knee-knocker on the tee because of the hazard. A great short hole.
