This may be recency bias as I only played a few months back, but I thought the 9th at Monte Rei was just fantastic.

Not on the same level as some of the courses mentioned here but I've always enjoyed the 14th at Preston. About 170 yards but massive downhill so plays much shorter.

Maybe it’s been mentioned before, but the 12th at Okehampton. Only 85 yds, but a wonderful hole where the tee is way higher than the green and you play over gorse. I didn’t par it.

Hard to define ‘best’.
The most renowned I’ve played would be the 10th at Moortown.
The 4th hole at a little course called Headley, just outside of Bradford has to be one of 'best' use of the local architecture though. Tee off under the railway arch, 200 yard downhill par 3 with OB down the left.

I’ve played at Gleneagles, Trump International and Royal Dornoch but this hole is still my favorite par 3 and you get to play it twice as it’s a 9 holes the photo doesn’t do it justice. Holyte is a hidden gem it’s like going back in time love the place

At least I was consistent with my reasoning, just shows how many great courses and holes there are!

Back home it’s the second hole at Lee Park GC.
Its the only hole in one I have ever had.!

I'm assuming from your wording that is a different hole. I'm not someone who can remember every hole at a course, which one is terrible? (I'll then Google it

4th hole Cruden Bay. 196yds off the whites and usually into the wind off the sea. If you’re going to miss, miss right.
