Casual round with IanM and GG26 when I shot two under par off the yellows with an eagle on the par-5 17th hole.

Lowest gross prize on Captain's Day with a 72 (Score Differential 1.0)

It's a hard question to answer succinctly I'm afraid.

My best scoring round of the year was at Beds & County. A friend of mine had a voucher for a free 4-ball that was expiring and that he couldn't use, so he gave it to me. So 3 friends and I headed there, none of us having previously played it. I said I was putting a card in, the other 3 said they wouldn't due to the fact they hadn't played it before. I shot a gross 75, 5 over par.

Day two of the Princes trip that Dando organised, playing with @Bratty and @Oddsocks - it was a beautiful day, I had a solid round and we just had a great round filled with lots of laughs on a great links course.

Lastly, my only round this year with my dad, at Seacroft in Skegness. It had rained and rained all morning and we mentally prepared for a complete drenching but the clouds cleared just before we teed off, the sun came out and we had a lot of fun - I just love links courses and this was another one ticked off the list.

My best was Oct 4th 77 (+9) gross - I had a terrible August, my driver was all over the place, I was struggling to break 90. I bit the bullet and had a lesson early September, wish I'd gone sooner!
First round after the lesson I had a 79, next round was another 79, then an 85 (blamed that on greens being hollow tined) and then came the 77!
I'm hovering around the 80 mark currently, moral of the story is get a lesson of you're struggling!
