There seems to be a lot of “copyright” issues for the pictures , it seems if you aren’t located within the US you can’t even seen highlights on the app or any of their social media platforms. Not sure why , and I guess you will need to watch on a local provider ?

That would explain it, not much growing the game though.
I know they don't need viewers like LET (streaming live now on YT) but even a DPWT would have 10-13 mins per day, pgat about 9-11 mins daily, LPGA 10-20 mins and the PGA is being dwarfed by both Masters and The Open with their featured group coverage + on the range etc

if only, I canned the satellite, was just paying full pack inc all sports and movies just to get to watch golf (over 1,000 live football matches and I didn't watch any)

One of the things I noticed yesterday was apart from Koepka (last years winner) how little coverage was given to LIV golfers. I do not remember seeing a single shot of Dustin Johnsons and he was playing with McIlroy.

You can’t have been paying very much attention then.

I saw quite a lot of DJ, especially when he was chopping it about in the tress . Maybe they stopped showing him when they realised he was chopping it round.

Rahm, and Phil got plenty of coverage, as did Koepka. We even saw a few shots from Hatton and Kaymer.

And I didn’t watch very much of it.

I suspect because he was spraying it everywhere and was shocking

Later in the evening the coverage was dominated by Rahm and Mickelson for a good period

During the early coverage they showed a fair amount of BDC and Smith

DJ seems to be one of the players that’s just disappeared from people’s minds

But most of the coverage i saw was concentrating on the guys playing well early in the day and then a mix later

I couldn't resist an e/w bet on him at 66/1 as Paddy Power gives you 1/5 odds for top 10 with e/w bets. He really has just mailed it in though since going to LIV, he's fell off a cliff. He's always seemed like one of those guys who just doesn't care though, he's won a couple of majors, he's been world #1 and he got the bag from LIV so I guess he just feels like he's got nothing to prove anymore.

They showed quite a bit of Phil in the late coverage as well as Rahm.

The early coverage seemed to focus more on Xander, Rory and Tiger but I still saw a decent bit of Koepka and the odd shots here and there from DJ, Bryson and Cam Smith.

It is difficult to know for sure, but you just can't see this sort of thing happening in the UK. The police would stop the driver, the driver would apologise, the police might then issue some sort of ticket, and both parties would get on with their day. Taking him away in handcuffs for a misunderstanding at a traffic situation seems OTT.
