Everton's next 2 games, Brighton away, City home. We needed a win tonight 😟.

Players gave it everything though, as did Leicester. Annoying the Iversson had a game like that 🙄.
After blowing 3 points on Sat against a very good Brentford side, Forest were massively let off with every single result this weekend.

Monday's fixtures will be the death of me. If Leicester, Leeds and Everton lose at the weekend and we somehow beat Southampton, I'll start to believe again.

Until then I'll just worry about it 24/7

if you go down.... how do you see it going? will many players leave/want to stay ? Who in particular would you worry about?
I think we’re probably resigned to another long spell in the championship. Which to be honest, I don’t mind. The football is more entertaining in the Championship.

Yes, no one pulled away this weekend, no one really lost ground. Forest v Southampton now becomes massive and apologies, but go Saints (I think they are doomed and 3 points wont save them now)

I'm resigned to 0 points out of the next 6, Brighton and City will simply walk through our defence based on recent matches, so we need to hope that the same as this weekend happens elsewhere and we have 2 hail Mary's for our last 2 games, Wolves away and Bournemouth at home. By then, it could be too late though. Lordy, it is far too stressful and hard work.

I can see you escaping. You have goals in your team, so important at this stage.

Leeds - Allardyce o_O . The whole country will be wanting Leeds to be one of the 3 to go down now.

I've been trying to tell myself this as well 😂 ....but from the games I've watched this season - the quality compared to the Premier League is absolute night and day and the officiating even worse than the Premier League.

The only upside about Forest being relegated is that I'm 35 mins from Bristol, so a nice easy away day for me.

We do have a few, and I have hope from the fact we gave Liverpool a good go (and could have won it with some tighter defending from set pieces - as they had next to nothing from normal play), absolutely bossed it against Brighton and overall played well against Brentford, and would have had a point if not for Kouyate not wanting to get hit by Toney's free kick to leave a hole in the wall for him to score from -_-

We've been playing better than we have in weeks, and seem to have found some consistency...hopefully it continues. We're still WAAAY to defensive too early in games, which I think is to our detriment - but I think 6 points will definitely see us safe and 4 or 5 might do it depending on other results.

HOWEVER, we've just lost Danilo for at least 2 games and he's been the cornerstone of our Midfield the last 4-5 weeks and has come on leaps and bounds in terms of his performances since arriving in Jan - so that could be a HUGE loss. Having Ryan Yates back in the midfield will be massive though.

Nervy times ahead whichever way you look at it. Monday is going to be an absolutely horrible day and also we *should* beat Saints at home, I don't ever take anything for granted in this league haha.

I hope it's Leeds and Leicester that go down with Saints, but if it has to be Everton instead of Leicester, so be it

Didn’t say it was better quality. Just more entertaining. Certainly fewer entitled fans than the EPL.

Oh, no, they don't - the other plus side...although the officiating is so bad at times, you wish they did!
Nothing makes me wish for VAR. A ref making a mistake or subjective view I can take, as he is in the middle and has the players and crowd to answer to, but the corrupt bunch of north west officials in their cosy palace can make the decisions they want and with a smile on their face as well

Yea, fair point to be honest. We've been absolutely rinsed on more than one occasion this season. It's the consistency (or lack thereof) that irks me the most.

So Leeds looking to sack Gracia and bring In Allardyce 😳

And in regards Jota and the High boot
This is Gallaghers view

This was Dermot Gallagher on an identical incident

Imo - both endangered the opponent, both players can’t have their foot up that high without taking care and both should have prob been a red card
Is Dermot Gallagher on that show giving his opinion as a Paid PGMOL employee or as an ex referee who is trying to educate the millions of expert ex pro footballers/armchair referee's of the football laws?

If it's the former it is a fine example of how inconsistent referees are on a weekly basis. For my money both are fouls and yellow cards.

I like Big Sam, he's always done a decent job wherever he has gone. I cant see him keeping Leeds up now though i think he would have had he been brought in when Marsh was potted. Defensively Leeds are a mess.
Big Sam being able to organise a defence is a complete myth.
