If it's a credit agreement you'll be liable for all the months.
I take it you didn't resolve your handicap dispute then?
They can't be awkward, or should not be, but if the club have altered your h/c then that is what will go across, whether you like the number or not. You then just have to play at your new club, hand cards in, let it adjust to where it should be. The caveat to that is, if you still owe the club membership money then they may well withhold the transfer.Really not sure who my agreement is with if I’m honest.
My only concern is changing my whs handicap over. The new club has advised they need to ring up my previous to confirm secretary to confirm details etc.
I did not send appeal in and have joined a new club yesterday.
Could the secretary of my old club be awkward when being requested WHS details?
I am taking 5 other members with me

Should in state this anywhere the T&C’s membership application form?To answer the OP, perhaps the question is best asked of either the club or, more likely, the finance company who the credit agreement is with.
Rather pointless asking the question on what is essentially an anonymous online forum.

Who’s the direct debit paid to? What shows on your bank statement?
My DD is direct to them. No 3rd party finance company seems to be involved
There’s your answer then.

meaning I am still liable or not?
Is there a problem anyway? A member can be a member of 2 clubs or more at the same time. Even if your current (or old) club were not to transfer your handicap across to your new club, it just means you'd be an Away player at your new club for a couple of months, until your annual membership runs out at the last place.Happy with whatever HC is handed over buddy, just glad to get out of there.
Just wondering if the secretary from previous club can delay my move until the two DD’s have cleared?
I’m currently up to date but next payment leaves my account on March 4th.
I will need my WHS cert in play to comps from next weekend but just wondering he could request the two months payment before handing over WHS details.
