James Maclean on social media referring to Rotherham Utd fans as ‘Stinking of P&£@‘ - hope the league grow some and start handing out the ban that this sort of attention seeking deserves.

And for the record, I smell nice and sweet 😜

Just out of interest, how many here are regularly going to matches home and away?

(Obviously not worth asking on the TV sofa fans thread 😜)

Six or seven games this season but it isn't so easy to get a ticket with sell outs for most home games.

Didn't anticipate this problem in League One.

The Jay Stansfield Appreciation Society... 😎
I had a favourite uncle from South Devon who was an Argyle supporter first, Blues second so I have always kept an eye out for them.

Sadly it looks like Rooney is going to have contributed to relegation for two seasons running.

To be fair nobody is blaming him.
Towards the end of his run in November and December we had 7 of our best players out injured, can't afford that with such a low budget squad.

Money talks, and we don't have it.

Blimey your fans are generous.

I'm afraid that here he is regarded as a great player but a clown as a coach/manager and not just by the fans. The players that remain from his time don't seem to miss him.

Btw my Dad originated from Bedfordshire, not too far from Luton, so it's not too difficult to work out which of the three I am least sympathetic towards.

Done a few home games this season(Cardiff). My days going away regularly are over unless a new ground pops up but they are few and far between now

Not been to a Boro match, home or away, for far too long. I used to be a season ticket holder.

I get to local matches here in Spain but only home games for the 3 local clubs, Mojacar, Garrucha & Vera. I’ve been down for the odd Almeria game. But not having any real affinity for those clubs, there isn’t the same buzz.

Complete wrong 'un.

Reading here. Home and a lot of aways.

Doing better than expected but can't really progress until we get a new owner, which looks likely to happen in the next few weeks all being well. Selling our best players, crowds staying away until the owner leaves, general negative atmosphere around the place! Weird season.

I understand how you feel.

Just thankful that we found a way to rid ourselves of Chinese ownership who had run our Club into the ground.

After a false start (Rooney and relegation) things now seem to be heading very much in the right direction.

Despite inter-club rivalry I genuinely hope that your Club can achieve a similar outcome.

Cheers! The Chinese owners have been terrible across almost all clubs as they only purchased them due to orders from the Chinese goverment. The owners weren't qualified and made a right mess of things. That was when China was spending vast amounts on their own league. Covid ended that and the orders were to cut investment and sell. Most did but some can't let go due to financial or political reasons.

Relegation for you was a good thing. A season in a new league, different grounds (apart from ours 😅), winning games and getting a positive feeling back. So many teams go up from League One and then challenge the next season.

Glad to see that the Mighty Millers have finally seen sense and got rid of Steve Evans. He did well in his first spell but bringing him back was a big mistake. Names in the running(according to various forums) are Paul Warne to return - would welcome this or Wayne Rooney. Don't think we would be able to afford Rooney, which is a good thing in my eyes as don't think he is cut out for a managerial position.

Yet many said at the start of the season that he was a shrewd appointment with his knowledge of both the club and the league.

Seems they were wrong and why would any club consider Rooney as a manager?
