Really disappointed with yesterday's result - I'll take some serious stick at work off a couple of Wed supporters. Although, having watched the Owls a few times last season I though they were better than where they finished.

Cold be the latter, as knowing that Carroll is out for ages might make us start off with a proper football strategy rather than waiting for him to come back every week

Dave Hockaday is a decent guy but I suppose he knew what he was getting into.

The club really only have the sleeve to blame - made far too many risks banking on CL and bought too many sub standard players on high wages
