I have to say I've been surprised by our good start given the tough run of fixtures. Birmingham and Wrexham away (who will be Top 3) and today Charlton at home with a 100% record. Throw in losing our second best player to Millwall, not being allowed a replacement and injuries to 3 other first choice players. We're also the only club not make a single signing in the summer (one loan but he won't play for 2 weeks) and our entire squad is made up of free transfers or academy players.

Huge credit to Selles who has turned things around and dealt with a toxic situation away from the pitch. We've looked brilliant in most games, well set up and coached. Press high, keep the ball and play decent football. We do lack experience but once the takeover goes through and we can bring in a few players, we should push for promotion

Stoke have sacked another manage. Just 9 months in the job, he was their 6th manager in 6 years. Highly regarded from Plymouth, not really given a chance, from the outside. They have become the new Watford / Chelsea in terms of manager turnover. Are expectations simply excessive for what they can spend now, do they have no patience there or is there a deeper issue? Interested to hear what our EFL experts think about the club?

@Hobbit I watched the second half of the Boro game today. Is there a club rule where you can't shoot from outside the six yard box? So much possession, so much pretty play outside the penalty area, utterly toothless once you get close to goal.

The last two matches have been poor. Previous matches have been shoot on sight. Latte Lath hasn’t recovered from the Ipswich approach, and is invisible. Jones has been very poor apart from the first match of the season. Azaz was way off form today, and Morris didn’t have a great game.

Doak looks like there’s a good player in there, he just needs to gel with his new team mates.

It’s powder-puff football. Looks good but if the guys up front aren’t firing it’s ineffectual.

What a week for the Mighty Millers - 1st away win in almost 2 years, win 2 consecutive league games for the first time in living memory and last night they stuffed Newcastle U21s in the Bristol Street Motors to go through to the knockouts with a game to spare. hopefully our season has finally started 🤞

Only one place behind Reading too. Get them into the drop zone. I'd love it here at work. So many Royals fan. I may become a secret Miller for the season
